β β β β β I go in to Tori Ya quite often for lunch and I bring guests. Today, unfortunately for me I guess, I went in alone at 11.30 to have a quick lunch by myself and sat myself at a 4 person table. Even though the place was entirely empty I was told to either sit at the counter or leave. Never going here again or going to suggest it to anyone.

β β β β β Really good japanese spot in SCBD. Food quality is really high. Everything made here is delicious. My go toβs are usually the rice bowls with gyutan or with karaage. Canβt skip over the salad as well which comes in a big bowl to share with others. Best of all, the gyutan with jalapeΓ±o skewers are really bomb, as well as the miso pork belly skewers. Go here to get a taste of delicious Japanese meal. It is also connected to a sushi place next door called Kinokawa, and you can order form there and delivered to eat at Tori Ya.

β β β β β Very good Japanese fusion and yakitori. Some of the items are served with jalapeΓ±os and are not to be trifled with. Order with care. Service is polite and fast. Pizza is excellent. The only drawback was the toilet: it was an absolute disgrace. Unclean and very poorly maintained. I feel the state of facilities reflect the overall establishment, and I will consider this when deciding to return.
