β β β β β Dined at Hiyoko tonight and was very disappointed with the smoked shorts plate set menu. The smoked shorts plate were nicely smoked but probably not more than 3 finger sized smoked shorts plate . The combination of beef with the rice and green salad was nice but needed a flashlight to find the smoke short plates because they were secretly camouflage the beef.
In addition, the service was very lacking as the waitress were not very attentive.
Not recommend for families and not value for your money.

β β β β β i love it, especially the chicken namban, but the place is quite small, if its not level 3 of PPKM, i wouldnt sit infront of the chef :). quite busy at lunch

β β β β β We had the chicken namban and 8hr smoked meat, and both were amazing. The sake was also great. The whole interior was so pretty, we sat at the bar overseeing the aesthetic kitchen. We had a great time, I definitely recommend going to this this gem tucked in the corner of the mall.

β β β β β Delicious. I've tried several menus of theirs and I have to say my favorite would be their Oyako Don and Smoked Short Plate with Garlic Butter. Although I have to say the Chicken Teriyaki falls short of my expectation. It's definitely a must to order the Teishoku Set because the Chawan Mushi is BOMB and you should try the Hibiscus Yuzu Sorbet.

β β β β β This resto interior is lovely elegant. They have outside seating with bar concept. We are viewing the skyscrapers. They serve Japanese rice bowl package. We tried nanban chicket set and wagyu hamburger a la carte. The taste is delicious. We will come back here again. They serve alcoholic drinks.
Update: we came here again today on 6 march (after 2 weeks from my first review) and we are very dissatisfied with how they handled overbooked situation. We didnβt know it was overbooked. So we saw the outside seating is empty. One side is reserved and the other one is still full of dirty plates. So we engaged in conversation with the waitress there, he said heβll clean up the table first. Not long after that, another waitress come to tell us they are fully booked. Inside and out. Because my son have a really good experience before, so we asked further when will it available. He cannot answer us so I asked for manager. A lady waitress come and also could not give us an answer. When we asked for manager. They said there is no manager. They seemed very annoyed and disrespectful to us who tried to get more information. Hi HIYOKO, you are doing well for just making us not wanting to come ever again to your place. So people who are planning to eat here please becareful because you may not be able to get a seat at all due to poor management (no manager??? Yeah, maybe thatβs the reason)
