★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I thought this restaurant was just ok. I liked the Japanese interior of the restaurant's design and the service was adequate. I ordered a hotplate beef thing and the meat was a little bit too tough. It was just decent food. Nothing very outstanding, but not quite that bad either. Not sure if I'd come back here though. Probably not.

There is still an appetizer menu, main course, drinks, and dessert. For the appetizer here is a menu of salads, various soups, mushi dishes, karage, etc. For the course, there are various sets of menus, sushi, buckwheat, udon, sashimi, etc. For dessert, there are ice cream, moshi ice cream, etc. For drinks here there are various juices, soft drinks, various teas, beer, etc. The price range of food and beverages here ranges from 15 thousand to 150 thousand. Overall, the foods are typical Japanese foods. There is no speacility in their dishese, so if you are looking for a casual japanese restaurant, this is the place to go

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Late lunch on long weekend ... I had Sukiyaki set and it was delicious. Having gyoza for appetizer it’s just ok....but I loveeed their ocha, they served roasted macha tea. Staffs are friendly and helpful although it’s their break time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First visit to this KoKas outlet and loved it right away, spacious and not too many people dining in when we visited, perhaps because it's Saturday before 12. Loved the return of Saba (mackerel), which has been missing for a while at other outlets. Overall, loving Ootoya for its clean homey taste and consistent taste between one outlet to another.
