β β β β β Staying with Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Jakarta was totally a bliss. The hospitality was excellent! Every single one I met went the extra mile to extend their services with their smiles from ear to ear. The room was designed with tasteful luxurious classic with comfort in their mind, with high quality furnitures that make my stay super comfortable. The hotel might be older in age, but definitely maintained very well. One of the perks of the holder hotel was the size of the room, which help create my quarantined stay more enjoyable. I got the room facing the iconic monument of Bundaran HI, and the view was amazing. But since the location of the hotel is super prime, makes whichever view youβre facing at, it will be a good one. Mandarin Oriental Hotel Jakarta is definitely one of the best hotel to stay in Jakarta, hands down!

β β β β β I love the pro-active service of Mandarinβs staffs. I didnβt expect and not accustomed to the attentiveness that was given during my stay in hotel even only for one night. It turned out that was actually a standard service from Mandarin which I fond it very much. Mandarin has already changed my perception about good service and I believe have raised my own benchmark of hotel service.

I stayed here for a 7 day quarantine.
Guest Service was very good overall. Staff are polite, helpful and competent. Everyone speaks good English and are more than capable of doing their jobs.
Hotel Room was nice, clean, spacious. Good value for money.
The only problem is the food. Iβm a pretty big person and I found that the food portions were too small. For the price youβre paying, and the fact that you canβt order food from outside, I think that you should give more than enough food for guests to be satisfied.
Iβm a Chef and I thought the quality of the food was ok. There were no dishes that really appealed to me, and some that were not very good. The menu has a lot of options and I think that you should focus more on quality of the food options, rather than the quantity.
Again, for the price your guests are paying, maybe a solution would be for you to offer snacks if guests are hungry in their room. I know room service is available, but it is an additional cost for guests. Offering something like some bread, french fries or any low cost snack available for guests at any time would be a good idea if you want your guests to be more happy with the food provided.
Overall, very satisfied with everything except for the food.

β β β β β Indeed it was so enjoyable staying in a very spacious and clean room. The children were amazed when entering the room which has a different layout (kind a new to us) compared to some of 5 star hotels we've ever stayed. Checking-in into the room and out of the hotel were done kindly and professionally with care. Thank you!

β β β β β We have stayed in hotel for five days. Everything was perfect.
On the day of check out we've decided to have farewell dinner in restaurant. Cinnamon was closed so we asked room service to prepare food for us and reception manager to serve us on second floor. We have informed that everything is possible and we are welcome.
We've came to restaurant with our kitty. But suddenly security manager has caught us in lobby and told to reception manager to not allow us to restaurant. It was very unexpected and quite disappointing. I'm sure kitty could not do any harm, disturb other guests and cause any inconvenience. Animals are widely allowed all around the world as part of common hospitality standards.
After long conversation with manager again we were allowed to the restaurant but evening was ruined. This is a clear sample of discrimination of animals and their owners. As a MO fans we are sure you need to reconsider your attitude regarding animals and your fellow most loyal guests.

β β β β β Fantastic experience. Every interaction conveyed care and hospitality. Multiple extra touches of special welcome felt genuine. What made this all the more impressive is that they were fully booked and yet they still thoroughly conveyed that customized attention. Beautiful property adorned with tasteful and diverse art. Breakfast and room service cuisine all delicious and fresh. Deluxe room was nicely sized with ample storage, very comfy bed and bedding, and large lovely bathroom. It was wife and my first stay at a Mandarin Oriental and we will certainly return.
