★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the third time I came back to Kimukatsu. From that statement alone I think it’s pretty obvious that I enjoyed the dishes they served here. I ordered the cheesy one, one of my favorites. It’s a perfect place for me if I want to eat meat. Will definitely come back here again.

Numbet of server is only 3, does not balance with number of tables and cosumer. They seems a little bit overwhelm with all the tadk including taking order, serving, refill drinks, etc
Each katsu order takes 20 minutes (it informed upfront after you make your order) which makes restaurant become quite crowded with consumer sprnd time at least 45 minutes. Might be one of their strategy to keep restaurant always looks full

Taste wise nothing special
Kids menu having big portion, yet in term of taste quite average. Chicken katsu taste dry, similar with typical katsu that can buy in the supermarket
Chicken katsu is ok, average taste
When you order wagyu katsu, you can experiment cooking it by yourself. There is no cooking instruction which open big opportunity for you to undercook or overcooked it
Found plastik inside the rice (shown in photo), they give complimentary katsu salad as sign of apology.
Salad basically combination of vegetables with chicken katsu. Again chicken katsu fried perfectly dry and taste like frozen product
Free refill for ocha which is good

Sauce should be their uniqueness, yet sesame sauce is not delicious. Taste more like a restaurant gimmick where you can grind manually yourself rather than one of the crucial dishes component which add up to the taste. Or maybe my expectation just too high
Overall 3/5
Expect fast food restaurant quality rather than a proper restaurat taste. Spending IDR 250K for 2 meal (wagyu at approx. iDR 99k) and 1 kids meal
