โ โ โ โ โ It's amazing how transformative this place has become over the last decade.
From a sea of brokers trying to "help" you speed things up, to this : a fully self-explanatory self-help and efficiently designed building.
The system has also been changed radically, to make it a more helpful solution to the people who are trying to get their passport done.
All in all, it's a remarkable transformation. Props to the Jakarta governor's vision.

โ โ โ โ โ Took almost 2 hours only to pick up my wife's passport at the foreigner service counter. no line at all. the reason of the waiting is that the section head is not in the office and the passport was kept in the section head office. Apparently the working hour for document pick up is not 8am - 3pm as mentioned at the counter or the website, but it depends on the section head working hour. ridiculous. They just asked us to wait and no one knows when the person in charge will come. the passport pick up counter for Indonesia nationals is good tho.

โ โ โ โ โ I went here to renew my passport into e-passport because it is the nearest immigration office from my place instead of Jakarta Selatan immigration office. They have a unique sign of the office with several different languages which is good
For the service, I arrived there at 12.50 because I got the afternoon shift after registering in immigration online system. The queue was not very well arranged, there was no proper line or even the security or officer didn't manage it. Some of the pen in registration section were not working, so it was difficult to fill the form if the condition were crowded. Better bring your own
The staffs are good but need to put their smile often :)

โ โ โ โ โ Actually the service is not bad at all. If you make online queue, the process will take less than 1 hour. HOWEVER the โphotocopyโ person will try to rip ur money in any ways. Today he accused me for stealing the 10k stamp (iโm 10000% assuring u I did not, and why would I?) and not giving my change.
Before coming to immigration office u guys better bring a copy of ur KTP (ID) and passport and bring a pen so u dont need to face this old dude in the photocopy store.

โ โ โ โ โ Don't get me wrong. I got very good service, finished the passport change in 50 minutes. But several people who queued with me complained that they had been waiting for 4 hours or more and had not finished their business.
I got queue number that began with the number 1. They got numbers beginning with 2. I was not informed what this meant. Later when walking away from the officers, I asked the security man what it meant. He answered: lansia; that's for the elderly. ... My God, they should've told me so that I could explain this to the others who were wondering why I got such speedy service...
In short, the service was much poorer than Kantor Imigrasi Jakarta Selatan. I had to fill 2 long forms that were difficult to fill. In Jakarta Selatan, last year, I didn't have to fill any form nor write anything. Yes... No need to write anything. They scanned the bar code from the internet nomor antrian, queue number. Here, they asked me to write the code number. What's the use of the bar code then?
Anyway, this had been good enough compared to 5 years ago. But you can be much better if you apply the system from Jakarta selatan. Go ahead, pak... Terima kasih banyak untuk layanannya ? ?

โ โ โ โ โ I think everythingโs pretty clear and efficient if you already registered yourself online beforehand. It took me around 1 hour and 15 mins, already included the queue, photocopying, and whatnot. Overall great service??
