★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bet it’s the same old story and some people might agree with me that some staff are rude, disrespect and totally cocky. I was interviewed by a junior staff there (I can tell by their uniform) she was super arrogant and a very flat too. I don’t mind telling her where I went for the past couple of years *yes that’s her job to ask questions but then she wanted me to provide a recommendation letter when I come back to collect the passport. the senior lady next to her said “no just process it, it’s okay” (cause she saw my USA visa and stuff) but this junior young lady insisted that I should get her the letter and you know what? She told me that I’m an outsider (not originally from Jakarta) who happens to be lucky enough to get a chance to extend my passport in Jakarta.
I was like.. what the f????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had great time at this office as the service is excellent; professional staff, time efficient and very effective procedure.
The office has a mini playground that is very helpful to keep little children busy and occupied while waiting.
It also has a nursing room in which moms can breastfeed babies and change diapers in a private, clean area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There some staff are rude, disrespect and totally cocky. I was interviewed by a staff in counter 5. She was super arrogant. I have recommendation letter for apply new passport but still rejected with a complicated reason. What a procedure, kanim jaksel ?

Friendly service.
Easy access (direct access to Trans Jakarta Bus Stop).
Clean and comfortable waiting room.
They provide photo copy service inside the waiting room just in case you need to copy documents. Also private room for nursing mother.
Parking spot is tight. Using public transport is recommended (Bus or use hailing service gocar/grab). The parking staffs are helpful though, and they stritcly follow the no-tip rule.
Due to online queueing system you can finish passport related request in less than an hour. Superb service, keep it up!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Inhad a very good experience the last time i visited this place. I was in a mission to extend my passport that hoing to expired in a few months. Before I can come in to the immigration office, I had to get the number for queuing online, through Apple store and find there the “layanan passport”. Completed my bio, chose your case (new passport, extend passport or etc), chose the office that you will pay a visit, chose the date and time and got the unique barcode that you will show later to the officer in the office.
Once you have all of that you need to prepare the document. In my case (extend/passport renewal) I provide my id (KTP), old passport and a copy of each documents. I came at the specific time that given by the app, got temperature scan by security guard, and filling up a form in the lobby. By the time, the security will allow you to enter the office (a few people at a time for covid protocol). I showed my barcode to the officer, he checked the documents and give me another number and combine all the document in the yellow folder. He gave direction to wait at the second floor. I access the second floor by elevator and wait there in a spacious cool room. My name was called through the loud speaker to the specific desk. Another officer validated my documents and ask me some basic questions regarding with the documents and travel history. Next was photographing and fingerprints scan. They also will give you a chance to check the name spelling and everything in the monitor yourself to make sure the spelling. They asked me to remove my mask only during photo session (make sure you know what pose you would like to have. They will not offer you option to retake. They gave me a paper reference to complete the electrical payment. They also told me that the passport should be ready three days after the payment done. You need to provide the recite and the paper reference when you want to take your new passport.
I have chosen electronic passport that worth Rp. 650.000 for 48 pages.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very rude staff. Apparently you cannot go here if you're not a resident of south jakarta, which is very different from what the government said. I couldn't use the mpaspor service, it keeps loading, but cannot make the passport offline since I'm not a resident of jakarta. The staff explained it rudely too, very bad service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located in main road from Kuningan to Ragunan so easy to access, there is also public transportation passed by including Transjakarta. It is often visited also by foreigner because they love to stay in South Jakarta so no wonder if meet them or service bureau. Hehe. Well, actually everythings are now easier to process so we can process everything by ourselves. The staffs are friendly and helpful. They are closed earlier I think during pandemic but when I was there, it was not crowded. Nice...

Probably need more update about terms and conditions to make or renew a passport. Make the information way more clear especially to register passport nowadays only able to make once reservation for 30 days.. Hope in the future could be better ?
