β β β β β Strategic location, situated in Central Jakarta. Nearest to Sarinah Department Store. They have only 2 studios, also a Grand Ballroom for the events. But very crowded especially in saturday night.

β β β β β One of the oldest cinema in Jakarta, I think now there isn't anything so special here, like it used to be decades ago. It has only 2 studios. Really nothing special compared to newer cinemas found in many malls around Jakarta, that have at least 4 studios (even up to 10 studios). The quality is also so-so...

β β β β β The location of this XXI Cinema is great. A couple of malls; Plaza Indonesia, Grand Indonesia are tolerably within reach by foot. I think if you plan to have a night out including going to the movies (around the area or your next place to visit is in the same direction) that is still open to change; this might be a good meeting point alternative. It costs IDR 50.000 during the weekend, IDR40.000 on Friday and IDR35.000 on the weekday. The bathroom is not of the same quality of other XXI Cinema bathrooms. Reception for your mobiles is scarce even when youre in the lobby.

β β β β β A cinema that is strategically located in the heart of the city. It is classic yet still caters to all the segments that watch update movies here. And the tickets price is much lower than others.

β β β β β Djakarta XXI is one of the legendary theaters in Jakarta which has a long history. Until now this studio is still very decent, but the impression gained when watching here is indeed not comparable to other places. For movie ticket prices here are also relatively cheap, facilities are also convenient and ok.
For me, to be honest, this is my first time watching a movie here after a few years in Jakarta, I decided to watch a movie here because there was a purpose to visit Thamrin 10, the new Park and Ride in Jakarta, precisely on Thamrin Street.

β β β β β The most I love from this theatre is its location and its place. One of cheapest theatre in Jakarta, even sometimes can get less with any discounts. I love the atmosphere. But it seems like small theatre, even for have a seat, not as big as other like in GI and PI, I think. Easy to get park and of course foods surrounding. Still Recommended...
