★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place to watch new box office movies. The service was nice. The theater sound is great. The parking lot was abundant. Several restaurants are in the same building with this theater. There is an atm center too. This place is definitely nice for families. Highly recommended place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Legendary cinema, now with completed facility as well. Platinum cinema, cafe, restaurant, and center of Jakarta culinary corner with speciality empek-empek, rujak, and gado-gado. One recommended place for lunch or dinner is Shanghai Express with totally tasty food and drinks.

It's a great place to catch a movie and hangout all day if you're tired of malls, and are looking for a quirky offbeat place with a classic vibe.
The complex itself has numerous cafés and restaurants, so you can freely hop from one to another in walking distance.
The cinema (and everything else for that matter) despite situated in a historical building, is very well kept, clean, not at all crowded, the staffs are all very eager to help.
It has one of the nicest and cleanest public toilets around (even compared to those in malls).

Just came to Central Jakarta for this week and keep coming to this place everyday : LOL
I came for lunches and once for movie night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always a go to movie theater that is quite strategic. It is located in the center of Jakarta renovated from an old movie theatre called metropool that was build in 1932.
Before or after movie you can enjoy several restaurants that is available in this place.
They also have a clean musholla near the motor parking area. Would like to give this place a 5 star, too bad the toilet near the musholla are sometimes dirty without any tissue and soap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the interior and the cinemas is decent. Metropole is not usually busy since it's just a stand-alone cinema building with restaurant and food court in the area. The ticket price is a bit expensive, but still decent since you got a very comfy environment here.
Its gets busy on the weekend with family visitor, but empty on weekdays.
