The Prambanan Temple Complex is the largest Hindu temple area in Indonesia. This temple was built around the 9th century by King Rakai Pikatan of the Ancient Mataram Kingdom. This temple is a relic of the Kediri Kingdom which was built during the reign of King Srengga which is around 1200 AD.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Candy Prambanan is an absolute must do if you’re in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Largest Hindu temple compound in the world from the 9th century. You cannot put into words how large and magnificent these structures are in person. Photos really do not do it justice.
