三大神「ブラフマー、ヴィシュヌ、シヴァ」を祀る大きな塔、その前にある三大神の乗り物、周囲を囲む瞑想の塔...周囲の塔の完全修復が成された時にほまた来たいです。

Candi Brahma ini terletak di selatan candi Siwa yang mempunyai ukuran hampir sama dengan candi Wisnu yaitu memiliki panjang 20 m, lebar 20 m, dan tinggi 37 m Pada candi ini terdapat satu relung yang berisi arca dewa Brahma dengan tinggi 2,40 m yang berdiri di atas pedestal yang berbentuk yoni. Dewa Brahma dikenal sebagai dewa pencipta yang tampak dari keempat tangannya yang semuanya memegang tasbih dan kendi. Di sekeliling pagar langkan (balustrade) candi ini terdapat relief yang merupakan cerita lanjutan dari Candi Siwa yaitu cerita Ramayana.

The highlight is its central compound, where its eight main and eight minor temples rise up majestically like ornate 9th-century skyscrapers. Erected in the middle of the 9th century – around 50 years later than Borobudur – little is known about its early history. It’s thought that it was built by Rakai Pikatan to commemorate the return of a Hindu dynasty to sole power in Java.

This Brahma temple is located south of the Shiva temple which has a size almost the same as Wisnu temple which is 20 m long, 20 m wide and 37 m high. In this temple there is one niche containing a statue of the Brahma god with a height of 2.40 m. over yoni shaped pedestals. Lord Brahma is known as the creator god who appears from his four hands who all hold beads and jugs. Around the balustrade, this temple has reliefs which are a continuation of the Shiva temple, the Ramayana story.
