This is the "source" of water from Kali Progo (river), and as starting point of welknown now as "SELOKAN MATARAM", which has been built under HB (Hamengkubuwono)'s order. Mainly used is for irrigation along the way of Selokan Matarm which flowing aross Jogja from its source in Kulonprogo regency and Sleman regency. Selokan Mataram then ended at Kali Opak in south-east sleman in Kalasan.....
A historical water canal, let us preserve it by NOT litre your garbages to this Selokan.....
