★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Choi pan here is delish, but you need to reserver first, as for nasi campur, i dunno why they use chicken instead of pork, make it a bit so-so. Hekeng is so-so too
Overall, if you like chinese food fron singkawang, then please try this, tho the meal already customized to javanese taste imo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here with my wife and daughter, curious about a moslem (halal) chinese food restaurant from Singkawang, a city in West Kalimantan Province. We had Singkawang noodle, iced mint serai (serai is an aromatic spice), nasi campur ("mixed rice") and choi pan cake. Sorry, but I couldn't the taste of the dishes, they felt weird. Maybe they have to adapt the taste to the tongue of the local people. Clean place, little decoration. Fast & friendly service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t come here if you want your food quickly. We ordered two bowls of noodles and waited almost 40 minutes to get our food. The staff were completely uninterested. Very poor.
When we did get the food it had no prawns which was a feature of the dish selected. When we asked about this the guy almost rolled his eyes. He is sitting outside.
Terrible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the most delicious noodle I have ever eaten in Yogyakarta. The handmade noodle is really delicious and it comes with different sizes from S to XL. All the noodles are delicious, but you must be a bit aware the yamie singkawang, because it is a bit sour. I recommend the yamie ceker or yamie jamur. It closes on Sunday. It is also halal.
It has the legendary menu, the choipan! You can only find it on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 12.00. Sometimes you need to order it first in advance a week before to get it.
Overall, recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located not too far from Sultan palace. They serve food seriously in here. Claim to use home made noodle with no preservatives, taste yummy. Its vegetable is still crunchy when chew. Not so pricey, worth every penny.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heard about this place long time ago but just had the chance to try it two days ago. People said they have the best yamie in town, i said i agreed with that. This yamie is super yummy! The taste is authentic and delicate, although the price is a bit pricey, but it’s worth the money. The portion is also big for me, even the S one. I tried their best seller, ‘Yamie Laris’ and it costed for 15K. My friend had Yamie Pangsit Medium for 25K and it was really a big bowl he needed to finish.
Luckily we went there on Thursday as they have chiopan served. We ordered the chiopan with bengkoang fillings and it was so delicious. Thumbs up! The staffs are also friendly, they explained politely when we asked about the dishes. If you would like to try the chiopan, come on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and be amazed with the taste they have.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pricey but tasty!!! A must try Yamie Singkawang in town. The location was easy to find. The parking space was available for both motorbike and car. The customer was come and go like a water follow the river flow.
The choipan menu was a must try too.
The roti sarikaya too.
Haha.
Spending the money here for hungry tummy is one of the best choice.
