★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Termasuk kuliner legend di kawasan Mlati dan sekitarnya. Menyediakan menu mangut dengan bumbu khas tidak pedas. Rasa masakan ndeso yg lezat dari dulu tidak berubah. Nasi mangut disajikan dengan tempe (tempenya membuat sendiri sehingga rasanya terjaga), tahu bacem, dan pergedel kentang. Bisa ditambah sayur ramesan sesuai selera.
Ada juga menu soto ayam kampung yang disajikan dengan piring yang rasanya khas beda dengan yg lain. Daging ayam tidak disuwir seperti soto pada umumnya. Melainkan disajikan per potong utuh sesuai pilihan pengunjung, potongan bagian paha atas,dada,dan lain sebagainya. Teh panasnya juga nikmat.
Tempat makan luas dan nyaman,parkiran untuk mobil dan motor juga lumayan luas. Letak strategis. Harga standar tidak menguras kantong. Warung Nasi Jaya pancen Mantap jaya?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "Nasi Jaya", nama ini begitu berjaya dan melegenda bagi masyarakat daerah Sleman bagian barat sejak dahulu, salah satunya adalah nama yg dipakai armada bus umum berwarna kuning yg sekarang sudah tidak beroperasi.
Ternyata asal muasal nama "Nasi Jaya" ini adalah warung makan di pinggir jalan Kebonagung Mlati.
warung makan yg menjual aneka sayur dan lauk pauk dan juga ada soto ayam ini berdiri dari sekitar tahun 1940an (menurut penuturan langsung dari Bu Endro, sang pemilik warung).
warungnya tidak begitu besar tapi bersih dan suasananya tradisional banget, dengan menu yg juga jawa banget.
untuk membuat kuah tetep anget, bu Endro masih menggunakan anglo yg berbahan bakar arang, mungkin itulah caranya agar citarasa warung makan Nasi Jaya tetep terjaga.

They've been in the business since 70's and have proven to pass the test of time, generations, trends and ever-changing life style. The fact that they still exist in millennial era deserves an awarding recognition.
