Bukan pecinta soto. To the point. Semangkuk soto terdiri dari : Nasi Putih, Soun, Rajangan Kol, Kecambah, Suwiran Ayam Kampung, Dua Potong Telur Ayam Rebus, Seledri, Bawang Merah Goreng, Koya, Disiram kuah kaldu ayam kuning pekat. Rasa & Harga sebanding : Satu Porsi Soto Lengkap, Teh Manis, Dua buah Kerupuk Kanji total Rp. 13.000,-. Soto dihargai Rp. 10.000,-
Not a soup lover. However, this time I fell in love with the sprinkling of "savory powder" that is commonly used in most of the typical East Javanese soup menus. "Koya" people usually call it. Shrimp crackers, fried garlic, pounded together to resemble powder. This complement makes the soup even more savory & thick. Koya was the one who (immediately) reminded me of the instant "Mie Sedap Soto Koya" which I often enjoyed when I was old. The flavors offered are almost similar, which distinguishes me from eating soup like "Instant Noodle Soto Flavor" which I often eat, not the other way around. Long time no review, once reviewed the intro is too long. To the point. A bowl of soto consists of: White Rice, Soun, Chopped Cabbage, Sprouts, Shredded Village Chicken, Two Pieces of Boiled Chicken Eggs, Celery, Fried Shallots, Koya, Doused with thick yellow chicken broth. The first taste tasted, savory. The savory taste will be thicker when "Koya" is mixed with the broth, followed by a mild sweet & salty taste. The fragrance of fried shallots, celery leaves & chicken broth burst through the nose. Enjoy it slowly before mixing the "Condiment" (seasoning) that is available on the table. First I added "chili sauce", not pulverized but blended, I suppose; watery, not so spicy, two tablespoons would have been enough, apparently not. Only gives a spicy biting sensation. Sufficient table salt to give a (more) steady, salty taste. Lime juice is added to give it a sour-fresh taste & give it a kick of flavor. I finish off the last few bites with "Sweet Soy Sauce" to give it a delicious impression before the broth in the bowl is draining. For a place that is not spacious, there are four long tables, with a pair of long chairs facing each other. Food carts, a place to mix soup, order food & drinks, as well as a cashier at the front. The place to wash cutlery is on the back. Parking space is not so wide, almost non-existent. Motorbikes can be parked neatly at the edge of the shop. For cars, it is recommended to enter the "Janu Putra Pasaraya" parking lot. Comparable taste & price: One Complete Soto Portion, Sweet Tea, Two Kanji Crackers for a total of Rp. 13,000, -. Soto is valued at Rp. 10,000, -
