★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Teringat ms kecil ,di bukik ini km slalu bermain2 bersama sama.Plencungan, itu semcm permainan perang2 an yg mengunkn sekepaln tnh mrh yg ada d bukit ini.Kadang km sampai lp wkt ,krn keasikan bermain.Kecuk,gocok,giar,nono,eko,menol,hari,riaskoris,njebret,inilh tmn2ku.Krng lbh 25 thn yg lalu,ttp yg slalu km banggakan d sni adlh keindhn bukit ini.Yg sngt2 menakjubkan ,tak salah kalau kedpn bukit ini akan mnjd salh satu objek wisata yg sangat terkenal di Kulon Progo khususnya.bay..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tempat ini berada disebuah bukit yg meskipun tidak terlalu tinggi namun dapat melihat pemandangan keseluruh penjuru. Bahkan bisa melihat perahu para nelayan di laut seat and meskipun nampak sangat kecil
Gunna Merapi,Merbabu, Sumbingpun nampak helps sewaktu udara cerah.
Pegunungan Menoreh nampak dekat bagai didepan mata. Pemandangan yg sangat indah sekali manakala sang Surya akan masuk ke peraduan. Dengan sinar yg kuning kemerahan mrpk panorama yg sangat indah Demikian juga kalau anda sempat menikmati saat terbitnya matahari dipagi hari pasti anda akan tertegun melihat keindahan alam semesta dibukit ini. Sehingga tidak heran banyak orang mencari angin segar sembari menimati ranumnya sinar rembulan.
Ketika gunung Merapi memuntahkan lahar tempat itu juga sebagai tujuan untuk melihat pijaran lahar gunung merapi.
MITOS
Ada banyak cerita MITOS di kawasan ini dgn di Tengarahi dng "NAMA" yang berbeda. Kadang orang yg mempunyai HAJAT atau tujuan tertentu sering melakuan Ritual dgn ber TAPA ditempat yg disesuaikan dgn keinginan nya.
Misalnya: yg ingin mencari kekayaan ( pesugihan) tempatnys berbeda dgn orang yg ingin meraih kedudukan ( pangkat)
Berbeda pula dg mereka yg mengingikan memperoleh benda2 pusaka. Konon di area itu banyak sekali benda2 pusaka
Diwilayah itu konon juga dipakai tempat P Diponegoro dalam menyusun siasat perang melawan penjajah.
Dulu Ada sebuah prasasti yg ditulis diatas marmer bertuliskan huruf jawa dipajang disebuah TUGU cikup besar dg ketinggian kurang lebih 150 cm tebal 100 cm. Nanum
nampak ya dirusak oleh orang yg tidak bertanggung jawab Dan mengambil batu marmer yg bertuliskan prasasti tsb.
Tempat tersebut dulu juga sebagai tempat belajar anak2 yang mau menghadapi ujian maupun ulum. shg serial sore banyak anak sekolah dr tingkat SD - SLTA yg belajar di areal itu dan kebanyakan mereka berhasil dlm study nya bahkan banyak yg menjadi pejabat pemerintah.
