★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This building was once the UGM Faculty of Agriculture building. This building, sometimes called the Vocational School Center Building (SV) or KPTU, actually has the name of the Iso Reksohadiprodjo building which was taken from the name of a mobilizing figure, Prof. Iso Reksohadiprodjo. He was born in Karanganyar, Kedu, Central Java on February 24, 1896.
He was the first agricultural economist in Indonesia and a Permanent Professor at Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta. His example can be seen from his life, through his full attention devoted to the interests of farmers, rural communities, fostering agricultural economics and the development of agriculture as a whole.
Now, this building is used for the central administration process of the Vocational School and lecture activities from the Department of Language Arts and Cultural Management (DBSMB), the Earth Technology Department (DTK), and the Health Information Services Department (DLIKES).
