The first impression on entertaining the premises of Upnormal Coffee in Bintaro Jaya is the cafeteria style vibe.
The customer/counter service has a very regimented militaristic ordering system. When I requested a 'Flat white coffee ' from a smiling young lady, she responded in a very 'ObergruppenfΓΌhrera' style. I almost expected her to salute (she didn't) after she had informed me with a smile that they do not have what amounts to 'normal' coffee with milk, (though they do have 'Cappuccino' and 'CafΓ© Latte')
This is a coffee shop with a strict
naming system! They are after all only following orders, but nowadays this excuse is rather 'abnormal'.
I eventually requested a hot Latte (with a Rp. 10,909,- extra shot). Shortly thereafter a 'warm' coffee arrived (abnormal) . I had to separately request the brown sugar and a spoon. I was given a table spoon! (rather abnormal).
Other than the temperature of the coffee the flavor was good and the price was reasonable.
On my next visit to 'stalag abnormal' I will request that the coffee be a decent temperature and more suitable tea spoon.

β β β β β More like a canteen than a coffee shop. They serve many variation of food and drink, but when i came it was like there is several menu isnt available to serve. Have a good connection but the open kitchen set is too noisy. May visit again for the food but will not stay longer than an hour.

β β β β β Food and drink are standard as upnormal's menu. The place was really cozy, the table, layout, then you can easily find the socket below the table. But when i came to order, it took so long bcs the cust could only see the menus in the cashier, thus it made the line.

β β β β β This is my first time at Warung UpNormal for standard food prices, the taste is delicious, it's just that the presentation is not attractive, for example, I ordered OTAK OTAK and Coffee Milk, the Otak otak from the way it was served, only given a sachet of sauce and no cutlery such as forks and no tissue available on the table. And one more thing, from ordering to getting out, it takes quite a long time from eating to drinking the same, the length of preparation. I hope the future will be better.

β β β β β Really slow service and very noisy. You have to be really really patient to wait for the order. I had to wait for 45 minutes for roti, pisang bakar, and overcooked french fries. There are many other hangout places that can do far better than this place.
