Our order is pretty consistent.
Hokubee steak tenderloin medium cooked and US prime beef rib rack.
Both are much better than the wagyus.
The tenderloin is thick, still red and moist at the center as it should be. They use rub seasoning, so there is spice crusty outside. Tender yet stil firm. Veggie is boiled salty string bean, and you can choose fries or mashed potato. Mashed potato is my fave, they use much cream and butter with right level of saltiness.
The rib is super tender and sweet to the bone. I usually share with my wife and little son.
Atmosphere of the place is rustic casual.
The service is fast and attentive. The price is decent. Higher than Holycow, but not much. However the quality is much higher IMHO.
