★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outback Steakhouse used to be one of the great steakhouses in Jakarta. Quite a high price point but was still worth it. However, after a long overdue revisit, I dare say the quality of the dishes are at best subpar and the taste is kind of bland to be honest. They could have put more effort with the presentation of the dishes. For the price point of 300k upwards for an item, the dishes are not really worth the price anymore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious, friendly service! Medium grill is hit the spot tasty and juicy, the sauce is standart. Resto vibe and situation is nice and chill but the location is unusual, because it’s like access way to somewhere first after that you will find the restaurant exactly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, one thing I can say for sure. My go to place for a steak house, although I don't eat beef.
Last time I dine in, I was having the Ribs & Chicken combo (I fully forgotten the name, plus I lost the picture I took), I do remember 1 menu though, the Volcano Shrimp (again, I Lost the pictures taken).
Chicken was tender, the ribs were delicious to the bone, the shrimp was Volcanic!!! A must have!

An old fashioned interior, like that one in the heyday of old regime era. All earth and warm color, big sofas with dark brown cushion wooden chair.
The ambience is nice, quiet and subdued with light small volume music. You may not change the playlist, btw *lol.
The food are superb. From beef to chicken to seafood to potatoes to sauces, but alas not the coleslaw. Something amiss with this last one, a little bit off balance, sourly strange to my palate.
Beverages, happy hour up to 8pm. Buy one get one additional glass for beers.
A smoking area is available at the back side, with a door to separate it with non smoking area.
A little tip and trick, this house entrance is hidden from plain sight. Look for outback signage between hoka bento and chop buntut^^
