★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best Chinese family diner ever, with affordable price and wide variety to pick from. Halal. Despite the name, the Soup Restaurant offers much more than just soup although it's notably unique from the shop--apple soup, chicken herbal soup, lotus soup, there aren't many of them sold in most other chinese family restaurants. In the menu are meat, seafood, vegetables, soup, claypot rice, tofu, venison, and desserts. Tried few of the recommended menus and can't get enough of them! The most unique to mention is Lou Han Zai, mix of mushrooms and sweet corn wrapped in tofu skin. It doesn't break when you try to cut part of it, very nice tasting. Po Cai in Oyster Sauce topped with Enoki Mushrooms have a very fresh vegetable taste, recommended for those who are vegetarians. Claypot rice with Chicken and Mushroom comes with fresh vegetables, and has a nice sauce to go with it and the chicken is very tender, enjoyable in taste. The most delicious in my first experience was Steamed Grouper Fillet, the sauce had ginger and the taste is salty but irresistibly makes mouth water, the smell is inevitably good and the fish is so soft and tender. One other thing worth mentioning is Tofu with King Sauce. This tofu is the homemade ones, might as well feel how special the hands of the chefs in Soup Restaurant is. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always amaze with this restaurant. Most of their food are very good!! My number one favourite is their mongolian beef. I can finish the small size by myself. Always their king claypot tofu is also great. Like the richness of their flavours. Dont forget to order the black pepper beef and salted egg prawns too!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Sweet Ramadan treat by Bakerzin, which was a very good choice for this Ramadan season. There are 3 choices of drinks, entrees and lots on the desserts. All of the entrees are using duck meat as the protein.
We’ve tried the Kecombrang Duck Rice and Duck Breast Pasta for our lunch and for our drinks we choose the Kurma and Es Cendol variant. We had to choose the Kecombrang Duck Rice for the best taste, the duck, the rice and the emping were the perfect match on the plate. The sambal ijo also taste so good to complete the meal. Duck was not oily, very tender and juicy. The pasta was OK, but too oily for us.
For the drink, both are good, very good to drink after a long day of fasting. Sweet yet fulfilling.
All of the Sweet Ramadan package come with a duck soup and TWG tea. The duck soup was very good with veggies, mushroom and shredded duck meat in it. Refreshing enough to wash away the oiliness from the food.
Definitely worth to try this season, as you can enjoy it with your family and friends.
