★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the major bus terminals in the Central Java area, as a transit to the west, to the city of Magelang and Cilacap, or north and east direction, to the city of Solo, Semarang, even to Madiun and Surabaya. The existence of a conventional taxi is still there, so it must be a bit far out of the area to order an online taxi. Cleanliness of the terminal is poorly maintained.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Central bus station of Jogja. Despite this bus station is big, it seems this place is lack of good management.
The station is very dirty, many palces do not have enough lights an no clear signage. I personally dificult to find the proper exit after my bus drop me off in this station.
Considering Jogja is one of Indonesia's international tourism destinations, this bus stop does not reflect the image.
Note: Umbularjo Bus Station (former central bus station of Jogja) at that time many ways better this Giwangan station.

The second time I visit here to go back, yayaya I must go around this bus station to find the bus that I want.
Information service is less here, so for traveller like me maybe it will be the last time I visit that.
Not recommended.
In this bus station available trans jogja, so it make you easier to explore jogja of course with cheaper fee.
