★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is pretty, it's built with full attention to detail. The table, room dividers, lamps, floor, all beautiful. Simple yet very intricate. The dishes were arranged nicely.
Our U~eita was affable, she suggested meal choices in a suggestion tone so I didn't feel she was pushing me. Very nice.
My problems were with the taste of the dishes and ocha. My TanTan Men ramen was way too salty, even for me who likes salty food. All the rich flavor of broth and miso was overcome by the saltiness. So was the Konyaku Japchae. My ocha was too diluted although I could still taste the roasted corn in it. I expected bitterness that usually comes from ocha. None.
The chef could do better next time.
