Saat ini sekolah menengah tingkat pertama yang merupakan kebanggan warga Gombong selatan lebih maju karena Bapak ibu guru selalu memperhatikan anak didiknya agar berpotensi menjadi siswa2 yang baik handal, dengan harapan kelak setelah lulus dari sekolah ini dapat melanjutkan ke SMA atau SMK bisa dilampau dengan mudah untuk dapat diterima baik negeri muaupun swasta..
