★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SMPN 2 Adimulyo adalah lokasi terpadu kegiatan Temu Relawan PMI Komunitas Sosial Media 2014 yang akan diselenggarakan 11-17 Agustus 2014. Lokasi ini memenuhi syarat kualitatif sebagai tempat berkumpul dengan nuansa pedesaan yang kental dan familier. Pangkalan PMR (Palang Merah Remaja) di sekolah ini cukup aktif dan maju. Pernah mengikuti Pelatihan Sekolah Siaga Bencana yang diselenggarakan oleh PMI dan Palang Merah Jerman. Alumni PMR Madya-nya masih menjalin komunikasi dengan pangkalan dan Pembina Utama : Ibu Herlina.
Secara geografis, beberapa desa di Kecamatan Adimulyo adalah daerah rawan banjir. Bahkan ada lokasi yang cukup dekat dengan sekolah yakni Desa Kemujan bagian Selatan. Ada semacam tradisi yang berlaku di sekolah ini bahwa Tri Bakti PMR diterapkan secara konsisten. Terutama bakti kepada masyarakat sekitar yang wilayahnya sering terlanda banjir.
Dalam kegiatan Temu Komunitas Media Sosial Relawan PMI - Kampoeng Relawan 2014, ada 4 kegiatan utama yaitu Pameran Foto/Video dan Diseminasi Kepalangmerahan; Pasar Rakyat yang merupa media praktik kewirausahaan bagi sukarelawan PMI yang dilanjutkan dengan giat Sarasehan Kewirausahaan Sosial, Penyegaran Materi Pertolongan Pertama dan Motivasi Pribadi Tangguh serta Rembug Relawan II.
Adimulyo SMPN 2 is an integrated location for the 2014 Social Media Community Community PMI Volunteer Meeting which will be held on August 11-17, 2014. This location meets the qualitative requirements as a gathering place with a thick and familiar rural feel. The PMR (Youth Red Cross) base at this school is quite active and advanced. He had attended a Disaster Preparedness Training School organized by PMI and the German Red Cross. His Associate PMR alumni are still in contact with the base and the Main Builder: Herlina.
Geographically, several villages in Adimulyo Subdistrict are flood-prone areas. In fact, there is a location that is quite close to the school, namely the South Kemujan Village. There is a kind of tradition prevailing in this school that Tri Bakti PMR is applied consistently. Especially devotion to the surrounding communities whose areas are often affected by floods.
In the 2014 PMI Volunteer Social Media Community Kampoeng Volunteer Community Meeting activities, there were 4 main activities namely Photo / Video Exhibition and Kepalangmerahan Dissemination; Pasar Rakyat which is a media of entrepreneurial practices for PMI volunteers followed by active Social Entrepreneurship Workshop, Refresher of First Aid Materials and Resilient Personal Motivation and Voluntary Respect II.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sekolah menengah pertama negeri ini yang berada di kecamatan Adimulyo.. dan disisi jalan alternatif Gombong ke Soka Kebumen terutama untuk hari raya Idul Fitri, walau demikian tidak mengganggu kegiatan belajar mengajar justru menambah situasi juga suasana baru yang biasanya sepi menjadi ramai dengan adanya hiruk pikuk kendaraan BUS Akap yang lewat disini.. walaupun sekolah ini mampa biasa2 saja tapi untuk tingkat Kabupaten Kebumen sangat menojol karena tiap tahun bisa meluluskan anak didiknya yang menyandang prestasi yang membawa nama harum sekolahnya...
This public junior high school is located in Adimulyo sub-district ... and on the alternative road side of Gombong to Soka Kebumen, especially for Eid al-Fitr, although it does not interfere with teaching and learning activities, it adds to the situation as well as a new atmosphere which is usually quiet to be crowded with the bustle of vehicles Akap buses that pass here ... even though this school is mediocre but at the level of Kebumen Regency it is very annoying because every year it can graduate students who have achievements that carry the school's good name ...
