Saya numpang parkir di sebrang jalan, depan minimarket.
Lebih adem kesana kalau sore hari.
Karena dekat pasar, bisa sekalian belanja dan kuliner ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sebenernya nama Aslinya Gua Seluman. Tp entar sejak kapan masyarakat menyebut dgn nama gua siluman.
Merupakan pesanggrahan / tempat peristirahatan peninggalan Sultan HB II .
Namun konon katanya sudah dibangun sejak kerajaan Mataram Islam dimasa pemerintahan Panembahan Senopati.
Tempat ini sempat kurang terawat lalu kemudian di pugar th 2017.
Letaknya 4 m dibawah permukaan tanah yg menyebabkan air masuk kalau hujan deras. Makanya becek dan lembab.
Tp ini tempat yg cukup menarik untuk pengetHuan kita.
Agak sulit untuk parkir mobil.
Krn di sekitar pasar.
Tidak ada tiket sama sekali.
Actually, the original name is Gua Seluman. But since when do people call the cave stealth by the name.
Is a boarding house / resting place of Sultan HB II .
However, it is said that it has been built since the Islamic Mataram kingdom during the reign of Panembahan Senopati.
This place was poorly maintained and then restored in 2017.
It is located 4 m below ground level which causes water to enter when it rains heavily. So muddy and damp.
But this place is quite interesting for our knowledge.
A bit difficult to park the car.
Krn around the market.
No tickets at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This pesanggrahan ("guesthouse" term since colonialism) built by Sri Sultan HB (Hamengku Buwono) II, 4 meters under the soil, around Banguntapan Bantul. HB II got wangsit ("idea") to moved the center of the kingdom from Kotagede to Pleret, but never finished this bulding. This "cave" used to be a place for semedi (meditation), even supposed to be a water castle for princesses like Taman Sari. One thing that become a special feature from HB II's artefact is Manuk Beri (Beri bird), a mythical bird. Many cultural heritages in Yogyakarta must be taken care and recognized, I believe there is still more.
