★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A comfortable place for enjoying sunday morning. Watching what people doing at there. Some of them doing Yoga. And the others just walk around and grouping. Then buy some traditional foods like apem, mendoan, kipo or buy some breakfast such as nasi brongkos with egg. The price is cheap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place joined with the most popularn historical building in Yogyakarta. Technically was a traditional market, but you can also rent this place to doing a concert or event. We also had a concert "KPMB YOGYA FESTIVAL'' an annual multinational-culture event by KPMB Balikpapan in 2016, including 10 countries starring G-Five, sungai, Rubah di Selatan, and FSTVLST. Good building also provide large car parking area. Been here for couple of times. Have an easy access for public transportation as well and near from Malioboro.

You can either dine-in on the long table and bench together with other customers or take the food away. The perfect timing is to enjoy your breakfast here is between 06:00-07:30 WIB

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a typical traditional market that local will go and buy their fresh veggies and proteins for their day to day cooking. The market has some traditional snacks, household tools and prepared meals seller. The price was pretty decent. It is typical price you'll pay at any traditional market in jogjakarta. Unfortunately many of them sell the same things. I really miss when it was a traditional animals market. It sounds terrible, doesn't it?

Otherwise they also have like plaza ngasem, it usually used as a performance venue. from the ngasem market/ pasar ngasem you can also see the villages around Taman Sari

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pasar Ngasem is one of famous traditional market in Yogyakarta. There is many things sell in this market mostly is food, vegetables and fruits. My favourite food is jenang gempol, traditional food made from rice fluor and javanese sugar with coconut sausage...yummy. Other food is tempe bacem, tahu bacem, jadah, apem, bobor kelor, bubur sambal krecek. Many foods but cheap price....don't kalap & lapar mata ya...????
