With only IDR 3,000 you can walk around the fort as long as you like! The place is so wide and it's near 0 km Yogyakarta, so it really is strategic. The ticket is so cheap and you can explore all the building and see the diorama. On weekend usually people come with family or school gathering, but it wasn't so crowded. I didn't go inside the building since I was on my home, but I really enjoyed my time here. They have canteen too where you can buy some drink, some restrooms, and there's a flowers garden. It's so beautiful when it blooms

Such a great place not only for kids but also for adults. We used to learn from our history so this place is the best place how we imagine our struggle in the colonialism era. The happiest thing is that we can enter the museum with only 3.000 IDR for adults and I think it's much affordable for most of us. The management also maintain and keep their good services and bring new experience to the visitors. There is also theater room available for introduction of this museum. Nice!

One of must visited spot when in Jogja, this site is a dutch building not only exotic but had interesting history. Need to get here is very easy and convinient because the location is very strategic and also because it's usually used for culture activities. Inside the fortress was built to military defence but now has been transformed to culture building which can be used to modern activity such as art gallery which held routinely and became gallery to represent local artist which has good sense of artistic.

Learn and fun combined into one place, and you only need Rp3000 to have an access ticket. Located on the centre of Jogja City, near from various kind of hotel, shopping place and mass transportation. I recommend this place as your destination lists.

The fort is now a history museum in Yogyakarta. Really like the classic building in the Vredeburg Museumt. The entrance fee is only IDR 3000 per person. The stories and dioramas presented are very complete and interesting. The museum area is neat, clean and spacious. In the front yard there is a playground for children. unfortunately the historical section of the vredeburg fort itself is missing.

Museum that was a Fort built by Yogyakarta King as requested by Netherland Governor. Inside the museum we can see the timeline history during the declaration of Indonesia Independence. Good history site that is displayed wonderfully. Recommended to learn our own history. And for foreigner to know Indonesia’s history as well.
