★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must visit! One of the best sate klathak (goat satay) in Bantul Jogjakarta. They sell the satay inside a traditional market (called Wonokromo traditional Market) in North Imogiri road. The place become popular because famous movie ‘Ada Apa Dengan Cinta 2 (What’s Up With Love 2) taken filming place in this store. The Satay is delicious, savory and perfectly cooked, and didn’t smell like a goat ( because they use young goat as a indredient), the price is affordable and reasonable

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took very long waiting for your orders to come. The place a bit smelly and not that comfy, if you bring a babies it wasn't a good place for them. Sate klathak was good and tender, even though it already cold since i still waiting so long for the rice to come. The sate klathak broth was tasteless. Tengkleng and tongseng kambing more in the sweet side for me, still you can taste the tick coconut milk flavor in it but i had a lot better tongseng kambing in Jakarta. Too bad it was not a very good first experience for me here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the recommended places you have to visit when you come to Yogya. The savory Satay Klathak was perfectly cooked, loved the taste and the texture. My new favourite dish is Kicik, a unique dish made from goat meat with sweet-spicy flavour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ to be honest, i've never been a fan of yogya food because i felt that it's generally too sweet for my taste. but sate klathak pak bari singlehandedly salvaged that reputation. more and more i come to appreciate food that has very simple seasoning and rely more on the skill of the cook and the quality of the ingredients. and this is a perfect example of that. Pak Bari only seasons his satay with salt and candlenut, but very skilful in the art of cutting lamb meat that he removes the smell altogether, leaving only the savoury, tender goodness. the location may turn some people off, though. there's no proper restaurant to speak of, they just set up some tables, chairs and matts for lesehan in front of a market in the evening after the market closed down. but for the more adventurous types, this shouldn't be a problem and really, you'll missed out probably the best lamb satay you'll ever tasted if you let it deter you. the portion is very generous. 5 skewers with a plate of rice should be enough, unless you're a very big eater. the tongseng wasn't bad either, but personally i prefer the delicious broth they served with the satay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The name "klathak" seems familiar to the ears of jogja people! Definitely if we go to Jogja, they are told to try the "Sate Klathak". One of my friend's recommendations is this sate. Uniquely, the vibe of the area is really in the market. Morning market that look like sells fish, meat and others. In terms of food, it's delicious. I ordered three menus, namely sate klathak (contents of 2 large skewers), Tongseng Daging, and Sate Bumbu. There is only drinking iced tea or iced oranges (hot can be done too). The service is friendly and quite fast, of course self-ordering! but the name is delicious, there must be a queue so you have to be patient. Don't forget the health protocol discipline guys.
*pssst, for those of you who have watched the movie AADC 2, this place is as one of the scenes in the film.
