★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simply sublime. A luxurious interpretation on Indonesian cuisines set up in a colonial era, but finely refurbished, mansion. Even during pandemic the staffs were very professional and accommodating to our needs, the reservation was made with no hassle and everything from valet parking to billing was performed in an efficient manner. Safe and clean according to the current regulations.
The visit was to celebrate my birthday. We ordered various options of food from vegetarian to pescetarian and we enjoyed every plate of it. I personally didn't enjoy the Dendeng Batokok but maybe it is just not for me, they even have Mi Ulang Tahun (birthday noodle) ready to order. The interior was very clean, and well taken care of. They have many private rooms available but we sat just right next to the bar. A memorable experience really, and I would recommend anyone to try this venue at least once.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kesan disini itu adalah ‘Ada harga, ada barang.’ You may find the food here is quite expensive but the taste and service here is one of the best. Really love the ‘tempo doeloe’ vibe here. I recommend Gado-Gado Dharmawangsa, Arab Lamb Tongseng and Pineapple Fried Rice to try. Nice experience here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ one of the high-end fine dining restaurant in the center of jakarta. as expected, the price is above the average but you'll be guaranteed to experience a premium quality food and service. the staffs are very friendly and well-mannered.
i tried their signature fried rice. the portion was large and at first the rice looked dark and black. but, it's not too sweet nor salty, just perfectly cooked. it also came with some cashews on top, which i had never found in fried rice before. surprisingly they went well with the rice. so good, not greasy at all!
i also tried their es dawet nangka – a jelly drink with jackfruit and coconut milk. they served the palm sugar syrup separately so you could adjust it as you like to the drink. again, it tasted so delicious, very fresh with no weird aftertaste. even though they sell many local dishes, they generally taste better here, probably due to the high quality ingredients.
the place itself is somewhat like large white old house or mansion with many tables and chairs inside, with different vibe and decoration. i was seated near the large tree so it felt like a garden with bird chirping inside the house. there are many selection of seating and dining rooms to your preference, including the private one. they also have praying room for moslem, and it's very comfortable. too bad their entrance/exit area at the front of the building is not quite large for the vehicle, but i think they provide a valet service.

Classy high quality restaurant. The decoration, the furniture, the services, the food, and all the place. The only thing that weird is they use paper for the mat in your table, not sure if its their standard or is it covid protocol stuff. The menus are now only can be seen through QR code and they have a lot of food choices there. From today's visit I like the squid-chicken ball, broccoli scallop, and the salted egg tofu. Their bathroom is fancy with 2 sofa-chair in it. They also 3 floor of dining place, but that day only open the 1st floor. I heard that the 3rd floor is the rooftop one. Hopefully will get lucky to be able to sit in the rooftop the next time I go there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is our go to place for Indonesian food in Jakarta. Plataran only use the freshest and best of local ingredients, all traditional style cooking. The chefs do an outstanding job and every meal is cooked to perfection. The Ayam Dharmanwangsa is an amazing chicken mango dish, highly recommended. Also, the stemed groupa is amazing and will melt in your mouth. The ambience of the restaurant is just gorgeous, it is a historical and restored building with indoor plants and marble.

Foods and drinks here are nice as well as the service. Overall experience is good. ?
