★ ★ ★ ★ ★ just wanna clarify in relation to a comment made by that person over there who claimed our office didn't respect Muslim holidays:
I wonder if he/she knows our office lets us choose whenever we want to have day-offs? we don't do that 'cuti bersama' rubbish, instead, we get 12-18 days annual leave per year, depends on how long you've been joining the company. and WE CAN TAKE ANNUAL LEAVE WHENEVER WE WANT. no need to provide reasoning, because it's our rights given by the company. as long as you can manage your work, and get everything you need to get done before you're taking your leave, you're good to go.
we don't have fixed Lebaran holidays except for the 2 national holidays given by the gov't. we choose however long we want to take leave on Lebaran or Natal. as long as we still have our annual leave quota.
so if you see anyone still working on Lebaran or in that couple days between Natal and Tahun Baru, it's the employee's decision.
last but not least, before you post something silly judging about other people's company policy, better do your 'research'!
