Nice ambience, cool indoor n outdoor settings.
Most of the food sold here are in sets. Price wise is okay.
Tried sumitori jyu n it was so juicy, the chicken were well marinated. Chawan mushi also taste nice eventhough in small portion, miso soup with fried tofu taste nice.
Good service too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite place to eat japanese food. Very good taste for japanese food. The photo is one of my favorite menu (Basil chicken set). Hijiki rice is the best among the other japanese rice that I have tried in Indonesia for set menu.
It is a little bit pricy if we compare to other japanese restaurants in Mall. But it is still worth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Like this ootoya restaurant. Nice decoration and nice atmosphere too. Tried the chicken (sorry forget the name) and it taste good. The miso soup taste ok too. Great and friendly service too. Price not cheap but still ok I think. Ocha refill. Will come back again another time

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been to this restaurant both back at home, other parts of Jakarta and in Japan, it's nice to see it open new branch in MKG…
Staff are well trained and courteous, knowing to refill my green tea drink (refillable). Also didn't want me to get back to process the debit card transaction, extra nice!
Food is on par, though the Saba fish was abit on the salty side. The Basil Chicken Salad is good and healthy with extra greenery and enough chicken meat to satisfy. The Omurice for kids is served proportional for kids, with omelette on top of fried rice and crunchy chicken pieces, with a desert of ice cream (milk, chocolate, muachi flavor to choose from)
Overall, a satisfactory visit, abit pricey but worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite Japanese Restaurant in Jakarta, they have great standard on how to prepare their meal & maintain the quality. The taste is very close to authentic. For weekdays, i think they only got 2 servers so sometimes it’s a bit hard to ask for assistance, but on weekend they add up more so no worries. The place is clean & has a bright lighting. Great for healthy eating out with family & they also got kids menu.
