Deskripsi: berbentuk tugu setinggi kurang lebih 1,5 meter, diatas batur seluas 16 meter. Dasar tugu merupakan alas berlapis tiga. Relief yang tertera pada tugu merupakan lambang laskar rakyat, yaitu obor yang menyala, bambu runcing dan senapan bersilang, padi dan kapas, serta dibingkai rantai yang tidak putus.
Sejarah : dalam upaya menghambat pergerakan pasukan Belanda dari pangkalan Adi Sucipto, laskar rakyat mengadakan perlawanan di dusun Sambilegi, Maguwoharjo. Dalam peristiwa ini telah gugur 10 orang pejuang. Peristiwa ini terjadi pada tahun 1948
Monumen ini dibangun oleh Pemda Sleman untuk memperingati pertempuran yang terjadi di dusun Sambilegi tersebut.

Sambilegi Monument
Description: in the form of a monument approximately 1.5 meters high, on a platform of 16 meters wide. The base of the monument is a three-layered base. The relief on the monument is a symbol of the people's army, namely a burning torch, sharpened bamboo and crossed rifles, rice and cotton, and framed by an unbroken chain.
History: in an effort to prevent the movement of Dutch troops from the Adi Sucipto base, the people's army held a fight in the hamlet of Sambilegi, Maguwoharjo. In this incident 10 fighters were killed. This event occurred in 1948
This monument was built by the Sleman Regional Government to commemorate the battle that took place in the Sambilegi hamlet.
