Sop sapi (soup with beef meat, tendon & beansprout) also a good alternative for non carbo. This place claimed to be the first serving this food in Jakarta since 1971.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a Pontianak style of kwetiaw house, both fried as well as in a soup. Tastes very delicious, with a good portion, and a friendly price. Easy to spot on from the main road, and parking area area is available.
The dining place is not so huge, but since the serving speed is fast, and the staffs work effi iently, people come and go without a long line waiting. Various of beverages also provided here in the fridge such chrysantemum tea, kedondong kiamboy juice, and many more.
I'm very satisfied with this place and go here almost everytime I go to Jakarta. Make sure to ask for an extra fried garlic and garlic oil to bring out more flavour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located at the crowded Muara Karang street, 'Kwetiaw Sapi 78' is a well-known place for kwetiaw. Just like other traditional chinese restaurants, the kitchen is located in front where you can see the chefs working as you enter. Kwetiaw Siram Sapi tastes okay with good portion and reasonable price. Sliced beef is a bit on the chewy side. It took 10-15 minutes to prepare the food which was acceptable.
