We enjoy very much and recommended for all of you who really want to finds nature environment
The view so good, i think i'll coming back. Make sure come early to enjoy sunrise

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best option to enjoy tea garden and maybe the only tea garden in Yogyakarta area?
If you want to come here with car or motorcycle, please make sure that your vehicles in a prime condition, check the gas, the brake, the horn, because you will drive through very difficult road, even when the weather is raining the situation get worse because the road is slippery.
But after you get there, you will find really good view (when the sky is clear, bcs sometimes it's cloudy up there). You can take a picture with the tea trees background or just enjoy some fresh air.

Tea plantation. You can find fresh and clean air, and sometimes a heavy fog in the afternoon, while your eyes 360 degrees can swap nice views down there, south sea, Magelang, Kulonprogo and Jogja. And you can get some warm tea or other hot drinks, same as other local snacks. A must try when you visited Jogja..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Nglinggo tea plantation recreational park is located on the border between West Progo Regency in the Yogyakarta Special Region and Purworejo Regency in Central Java Province. From Yogyakarta City you can start from Dekso traffic light, follow the road uphill to Samigaluh then turn right through some extremely ascending spots. The entry fee is Rp 12,000.00 for a couple on a motorbike. At the parking lot, there are clean toilets, a small musholla (moslem prayer place), food stalls offering simple foods like instant noodles, chicken noodles, soto, hot mendoan (a local tempe specialty wrapped with rice flour) and drinks. On our last visit here, I and my wife had delicious hot mendoan and fresh hot local Nglinggo tea. We took a short hike (about 100 m) to the new attraction called Borobudur Highlights (actually located in Purworejo Regency, Central Java Province), a nature garden suitable for gathering and selfie spots, with an artistic amphitheater-like stage, clean outside toilets and modern tents for glamping. Still in the Borobudur Highlands, we visited the Tree House with comfort rope hammocks, a unique egg-like VIP room with AC and a clean attached bathroom, and an orchid nursery. From the parking lot visitors can go uphill on foot or ride an inexpensive open shuttle car (Rp 70,000.00 for six seats) to explore the vast tea plantations with some selfie spots and food stalls.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ could've done a lot better. need more signage, more staffs, more guide and info for travellers. the road leading to this place is extreme because it's narrow with many lengthy inclined slopes (around 30° maybe). but i gotta admit the view is great and the air is quite refreshing. there are better places in and around Yogyakarta but if you had visited the other places maybe it's time for you to visit this place
