another local-cheap-destination at Kulonprogo. This tea plantation up above the hill will give you fresh air and if you are lucky without fog, you will find vas scenery down below. Don't worry if you need to hike a bit as surely it will pump your heart a bit. Tired?..stop by at local coffee shop and drink something hot and chew mendoan if they provide. Support local community is always good. There are several place and photo spot you can choose. if fact, many place you can choose as with correct time...a bit luck...and not feeling cold when the wind blows sometimes from upper hill...you will get nice memory. It is also a challenge to get here as you just basically drive up-hill...or up-mountain.

It's a nice place, the food is good, and the place is clean. But the parking space is pretty small.

I can look a beautiful of six mountain from this place, I can explore the tea plantation and also coffee plantation... I can drink a cup of tea and feel the fresh air in this place.. They also have a lot of photo spot that we can take a picture with... We can stay in homestay if we want to stay longer in this place.. Some people in this place are so harmfull...

It's better to visit this place when the weather is nice and not cloudy so you can get a good view of Magelang down the hill. Now you can visit Ngisis Hill at night since there's LED lamp from STP NHI Bandung. From Ngisis Hill you can also visit Gunung Jaran by taking stairs, unfortunately it's still on construction. The entrance fee is Rp5000 and you also get a pack of Nglinggo tea. I don't think it's a child friendly place, if you bring your kids you need to pay attention to them and be very careful.

I really really really really love this place! Sejuk. Adem. Enak. You want to feel the super fresh air here. Only around 800 metres above the sea. Many spots to take beautiful photos. But you have to be pretty brave for some spots. And you really need to be careful if you plan to bring kids here. You can walk on some flights of stairs and you can see the whole view from "Gardu Pandang Nglinggo" or Nglinggo hill post (?). On the way up, there's toilet available lol. Good job, Nglinggo and Kulon Progo.
