Daerah lampu merah bisa di rekayasa supaya tidak mengantri di atas jembatan. Jembatan ini sudah berumur lama. Perlu antisipasi kekuatan dan daya tampung beban di atasnya.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bagi masyarakat yang tinggal di pusat Kota Semarang, siapa yang tidak mengenal Plered, bendungan peninggalan masa kolonial Belanda yang terletak di Sungai Banjir Kanal Barat.
Selain bentuk bendungan landai, tempat tersebut juga memiliki dua buah pintu air yang hingga kini masih berfungsi. Tak jarang, di kala arus air tidak begitu deras, kawasan itu menjadi arena favorit anak-anak kecil bermain prosotan.
Namun, di balik fungsi dan sejarah dibangunnya Pleret, muncul cerita-cerita mistis yang masih sering terjadi hingga kini.
Meski lumayan angker, Pleret masih menjadi salah satu ruang terbuka yang kerap dijadikan lokasi nongkrong anak-anak mida Semarang. Tapi, di lokasi ini juga menjadi salah satu titik rawan kejahatan
