★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointed for staying here in Dec 2021.
I think they are not ready to get back to normal or even peak/holiday season. Staff was so busy so they're not ready in several places/stations. Hard to contact/call if we need something. Sailendra Restaurant food is far from before the pandemic.
This is not the JW Marriot we knew before.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not reflecting the level of hospitality and quality of 5 stars hotel provided.
1. We find fly (a big one) inside syailendra restaurant for breakfast in the dining table. Unfortunately we don't get the picture, yet fortunately we already finish the breakfast it doesn't affect our appetite.
2. We know this weekend is very full with many event inside the hotel, and this helps the hotel revive after impacted with PPKM. But as a guest, we also still expect to get the best hospitality. My family once waiting in the lobby to get me pick them up and one of the committee event (and also hotel staff present there very nearby) just like asking why my family there too long that they want to clear up the lobby for event. And hotel staff do nothing just like "okay they pay more than you for the event, so you deserve to get the less as well"
3. Luckily we found one experienced receptionist with very manner way that represent 5stars hospitality. The rest just like trainee and maybe have to learn a bit what word "hospitality" means. I suggest your team may also try to stay in Padma Bandung where i find definition "hospitality" is served at one of the best level. You can benchmark there and feel the difference, if you willing to.
4. For renown hotel, i'm quiet unexpected to find the pool is rather small, and cold enough to make some kids stay only awhile (not only mine but also several that swim at that time, both in the afternoon and morning)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have stayed at the JW Marriott Jakarta 10+ times now and each stay has been great. Firstly the hotel is very smart and from the moment of arrival you feel welcomed. The rooms are very nice (I've included some photos) they are modern and very spacious. The fitness centre is well equipped and the hotel also has a supervisor / personal trainer located on site. The pool is nice also, it's a good area to chill out after a busy days work. The hotel also offers a SPA (offering massage treatments, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi area). The buffet breakfast in the hotel is very good also. Location wise, it is walking distance from bars, restaurants and a shopping mall. I will continue to stay here during each trip to Jakarta.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came back to JW Marriott after two year. It is an amazing hotel stay. I always call this hotel as “home away home for me”.
I had excellent communication with Anisa at lounge and she really takes care of all guests real well.
My breakfast experience was really good with amazing food selection and service provided by Irwan.
Roland at lounge also is an excellent staff member to take care of guests.
I will post more once my stay is complete.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful stay at the JW Marriott Jakarta. The service by all the staff was par excellence. The room was spacious and luxurious. All of the facilities were top notch as well, except for the outdoor pool, which was quite small and not conducive for swimming laps. The location is very close to several good malls and wonderful restaurant options. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend the JW Marriott Jakarta to anyone who would like to be pampered.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here for my 5 day quarantine on arriving in Jakarta. Room was nicely furnished, everything worked, sufficient supply of water and amenities were provided; nothing to complain about. The staff were helpful and called periodically to see if anything was needed. Food was tasty and most importantly warm when delivered to the room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible experience at the end of the stay. I was staying at the hotel for mandatory quarantine as government regulations. At the end of the stay I got COVID positive which was a surprise for me. Nevertheless, I asked the front desk twice to send the invoice so that I can pay the amount. They didn't do anything but when I reached the isolation hotel, all of a sudden everyone from the hotel started calling to pay the amount. I assured them I won't be running away and pay the amount ( they already had the amount blocked in my credit card) once I settle at the new hotel but they started blackmailing me you have to settle the bill otherwise we won't let you enter the new hotel.
This is the behaviour you expect from reputed hotel staff....?????
