★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dining at the 1st floor, but we could order the 2nd floor's food. Their first floor served western and second served japanese. It's perfect when we could eat western food and drink japanese ocha at the same time! The highlight of the 1st floor is the cake by chef karen carlotta. She just never failed on making good dessert! :)
Ps: salad is super good too, will be better if the egg was not overcooked.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think this place could use some more visitors. The food is good, the vibe mellow and casual, and the staff are friendly. They also have a second floor to accommodate bigger parties.
I would recommend:
a) The goma salad: (refreshing with some crunch to the veggies and flakes of tempura batter)
b) The gyudon: The flavors were all there like a mini bibimbap minus the red chilli sauce.
c) The Cakes & Gryphon Tea (some of the best smelling mix of flowers and tea that I have ever tried)
I know parking is a little bit of issue here because of the lack of parking space so please try to arrive in one car. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For me Izakaya Kai has the best Chicken Karage in town, I really like the Wagyu A5 don and Ebi Bacon. As for the cake, the Goma Cake taste really good!!! It's a joy that a high quality Japanese Restb opens in Pluit area. Really offers authentic Japanese food and nice interior design. Will be back for sure to try other dishes ?. QThe Japanese style steak is delicious and affordable, must try!!!

Kinda sus at the first time actually (sadly there are no cakes on display, even though you see on google it looks delicious) but love the interior and food.
Love the service too, they're so nice. But it a bit pricey for me, so i don't think i'll come back if there's no occasion
I ordered Australian beef udon. The food is delicious, the soup taste like hometown.?the meat is also tender. Love it. It's a type of food that you want to eat on a rainy day/ a bad day.

Is it just me or am I too easy to pleased Tralalalalaa.
But yes, it is that loveable for me.
Everything taste a-a-amazingggg. The saikoroo melt my heart like butteee..rrrrrr
And ofc you have to try their cake
Yep it was the amazing couple from UNION brand that create this amazing place for us.
