★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bangunan kantornya sederhana, seperti rumah penduduk. Tidak mewah sama sekali. Hanya ada papan bertuliskan PKPU berwarna biru di bagian depan bangunan. Ada tempat parkir mobil dan motor di halamannya, namun kadang pengunjung parkir mobil di seberang jalan karena sedikit susah untuk menyeberang ke kantor jika kita dari arah berlawanan, mengingat lokasi kantor berdekatan dengan lampu lalu lintas atau perempatan. PKPU bekerja sama dengan beberapa NGO internasional seperti Malteser Internasional.
 The office building is simple, like a resident's house. Not fancy at all. There is only a blue PKPU sign on the front of the building. There is a parking lot for cars and motorbikes on the lawn, but sometimes visitors park the car across the street because it is a bit difficult to cross to the office if we are from the opposite direction, considering the location of the office adjacent to a traffic light or intersection. PKPU cooperates with several international NGOs such as Malteser Internasional.

Tapi intinya ini adalah lembaga sosial kemanusiaan skala nasional non profit, bisa juga disebut NGO yang fokus bekerja di bidang kemanusiaan. Kantor pusatnya berada di Condet, Jakarta. Cabangnya banyak ada di hampir setiap provinsi. Bisa menyalurkan zakat atau sedekah atau apapun itu kebaikan dlm jumlah kecil maupun besar, tetapi tidak bisa mengeluarkan surat/sertifikat zakat yang biasanya dibutuhkan untuk laporan zakat tahunan
