★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Grilled seafood served in eastern Indonesian delicacy. I love the “colo-colo sambal”. It is sour and spicy. Unfortunately the hygiene is rated as a standard street food. Be careful if you haven’t tried any Indonesian street food before!

food is cheap compared to Jakarta and it tastes amazing! Seriously, the fishes are fresh! Sambal colo colo is also delicious and refreshing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the restaurant where I love in Yógyã !!! Another East Indonesian menus provided. When you have opportunity visit Yogya, don't missed it. Early come within lunch time is recommended to get first service since this place is popular for hanging out during office lunch time. Change your rice with various Indonesian non-gluten menu: steam banana, taro, casava, sweet potato and corn. Location please follow google map if you the first comers (***), reasonable price (***), good food for exotic menu (*****), good hospitality (****). Very recommended ????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to try foods from east side of indonesia in Yogyakarta, you have to visit this place. The taste is very authentic, sinple taste but really good! Beside rice, you have to eat them with papeda or ubi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just love the food here. Their grilled fish is so yummy, best paired with their spicy yet fresh colo-colo sambal. Super delicious! Definitely a special place to eat Eastern Indonesian food in Yogyakarta area. You may also find papeda with ikan kuah kuning here.
All fish is freshly cooked once you order them. A meal package consists of rice/cassava/sweet potato/papeda/banana along with vegetables (stir-fried papaya leaves and stir-fried kangkung leaves), sambal colo-colo (made from young and fresh green tomatoes with local basils, lemon juice, and chilies), and selected fish. Any kind of ocean fish you may choose, like barakuda, baronang, bawal, kuwe, salem, kembung, kerapu, cakalang, kakap, tuna, kerisi, and belanak. You may also choose to be naked grilled or with sauce. Price per package normally is 30-45K, depends on the fish you choose. If you come earlier, at 10 or before lunch, they may still have squid and prawn.
Located in a small street, it is quite hard to park your car during lunch time. Better to come with your motorcycle or online public transport. The place is simple with some tables and plastic chairs. They used to have a branch near that area, but it is likely closed due to the rent period. The owner is friendly and helpful in giving recommendation on what fish to choose.

It is located on small alley. But it's famous among tourist and local. Their speciality are grilled fish , squid and ....their special condiment is colo colo sambal, which is very fresh, a bit spicy yet decilious
You will be served rice or cassava or sweet potato as the main carbo. Then they will also served saute papaya leaf and flower which is very delicious as well.
Definitely will back again as the price is crazy cheap!
