★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've watched plays and performed theatrical plays here, and will surely do those things again until this place is gone or until I am the one who is gone.
But as one of the most famous and historical performance venues in Indonesia's capital city, this building has to be renovated or at least the public toilets need major overhaul.
I know there's the new Teater Jakarta venue just a short walk away, but even that venue's public toilets are wasting away due to lack of maintenance. The condition of the toilets in the lobby area and the backstage is truly appalling.
I do hope the provincial government or the building's caretakers will do something about this. Because this building is still the top choice for hosting many art performances.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you love performance art, here's the place to see one! Sometimes they even make the event for free! So you better catch up for them! There are foodcourts nearby for you if you want to wait and the price is pretty standard! If you come in afternoon, there's planetarium you can explore too nearby!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bit old and the seats' legroom is tinyyyy and it makes going over others' legs extremely disturbing, yet the layout is nice and you will never get your view blocked. Close and intimate to the stage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ perfect place for theatrical performance, etc. although the toilets especially toilets backstage needs to be upgraded as backstage is where performers will spend most of their days, especially on tech week. capacity is pretty okay although not as big as teater jakarta. but i like how it has a pretty good view from every seat.
