★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is small mosque inside the Taman Ismail Cultural centre. It is new and stll very simplistic but just functional with hardly any ornaments. The name brings memories of the old Amir Hamzah mesjid at the back of the cultural centre which was a historical site for the artists (poets, choreograohers, literature activists, painters, film makers and so forth) around the 70s, 80s, 90s until the 2000s. It was also a meeting point and discussion haven on Islam and Art for the Mimazah group. The old Amir Hamzah Mesjid was cool and quiet, a nice place for spirtual contemplation.
The current one....is a far cry from the old one but just enough to do ones prayer duties.
