Meskipun demikian kita masih bisa membeli lezatnya roti-roti produksi Tan Ek Tjoan di Cikini sebab banyak gerobak roti Tan Ek Tjoan yang berjajar di sepanjang tepian jalan Cikini Raya. Karakter roti ini khas roti jaman dulu. Teksturnya padat, lain dengan tekstur roti jaman sekarang yang kebanyakan bertekstur "kopong". Salah satu signature product dari Tan Ek Tjoan yang paling laris dicari yaitu roti gambang atau yang di kota lain kerap dikenal juga dengan nama alias roti ganjel rel. Roti tradisional khas Betawi ini punya tekstur padat namun lembut saat digigit. Rasanya manis-gurih dengan aroma khas kayu manis dan jahe. Namun Tan Ek Tjoan juga menjual varian roti lainnya, seperti roti isi cokelat, roti isi kacang, roti isi pisang, hingga roti tawar. Untuk yang belum pernah membeli roti Tan Ek Tjoan, jangan takut dengan harga mahal karena labelnya sebagai roti legendaris. Sebab harga roti-roti di gerobak roti Tan Ek Tjoan masih cukup terjangkau untuk kantong, dengan harga jual sekitar Rp 7.500 saja per rotinya.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Toko rotinya sudah pindah ke Tangerang, kata pedagangnya. Harganya 7rb per roti. Banyak ditemukan di arah ke Cikini dari Menteng Huis. Ada sekitar 4 penjual roti di sana dan letaknya tidak berjauhan

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Menurut sy ini roti paling enak, krn bahannya tradisional dan tahan lama, rasa orginal dan sesuai selera org indonesia. Beda dgn roti2 di mal, sdh mahal, pake pengembang dan tdk tahan lama, krn langsung kempes dan anda cuma dpt maksimal 50% dari konten yg seharusnya. Ini merugikan dong?!
Ini bs bertahan sampe 3-4hari, apalagi gambangnya.
Kalo boleh usul: tdk perlu ditawar, krn mereka tdk seberapa dpt untungnya, dibanding kita beli di mal. Anggaplah kita bantu pedagang kecil dan mengangkat/promosikan produk2 lokal yg berkwalitas!

In my opinion, this is the most delicious bread, because the ingredients are traditional and durable, the taste is original and according to the tastes of Indonesian people. It's different from the bakery at the mall, it's expensive, uses developers and doesn't last long, because it immediately deflates and you only get a maximum of 50% of the content that should be. Is this detrimental?
It can last up to 3-4 days, especially the xylophone.
If I may suggest: no need to bargain, because they don't get much profit, compared to what we buy at the mall. Suppose we help small traders and raise/promote quality local products!

I just tried the white bread, thick, big, through other modern bakery. the problem is that waiting for my brother to pass is not reliable..sometimes I like to skip housing..don't know if it's in tokped...
