★ ★ ★ ★ ★ one of the oldest coffee roastery in the city. this two storeys wide and cozy coffee shop offers oldies styles atmospheres with many various Indonesian coffees variant. you can pick from so many best traditional single origins coffee such as mandheling, bajawa, gayo, wamena and many other variant. you can choose the style of coffee serving from toebroek to modern style blend. they also offers various indonesian traditional snacks to enjoy with your coffee. this place have old style vintage decoration to take you back to the age of oldies indonesian ambiance. nice place to hang out, or just chatting with some old friends and families. best to come in the afternoon to dawn.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old place, good coffee, nice ambience. A must visit if you like to taste various Indonesian coffee beans as well as traditional snacks. The pavement outside the cafe has been widened for enjoyable walking with wood benches in every several meters away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm sure this place is one of the eldest coffeeshop in Jakarta. It's a cozy place, has a good ambience, and has a lot of various choice of food and beverages.
I order:
- Kebuli fried rice (highly recommended if you like Fried rice and lamb meat)
- Corned beef toast (standard)
- Chicken wings barbeque (standard )
- Kopi kampong (recommended if you like coffe serve with Indonesian traditional style)
- Hot and Ice lemon tea (standard)
Unfortunately, it has limited parking area but you can park in Huis Menteng building. I saw many bicyclist came in, it has special parking space for bicycle.
If you were in Cikini, Gondangdia, and Menteng area, I highly recommended to come and visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the oldest coffee shops in Jakarta. Located in Cikini, central Jakarta, this place is accessible by public transport. The space for private vehicle is limited, and mostly park on the side of the road.
The place is consist of two story building, available for smoking and non smoking area with plenty of seat available. They also maintaining many of part of the building from the colonial era, so this place is looks so historical in this modern time.
The menu are varies with their specialties: Coffee from all around Indonesia. And if you not into coffee, they also offer non coffee drinks like tea. There are also some food on the menu and snack/dessert. Taste great and price understandable.
The hospitality is good, the waiter/waitress really guide us and explain to what we want to order or give us some recommendation of the menu.
During pandemic of Covid19, we must show our vaccination certificate for dine in there.

Pretty comfortable to chill with friends, but maybe not for my taste.
It's not clear whether there is smoking area or not. The stairs are too cramped and doesn't have railing, a bit dangerous for kids and not comfortable for elderly.
This place also not providing prayer room. Not recommended for staying too long.
It's also a bit pricey.
