They hold a lot of events you can check their social media, and you wont regret it. Their events are often free entry. Sorrounding area also great for walking and sighseeing. It's a bit crowded tho

In order to catch up with local cultural shows, you may have to look for the info from the local tourist office or from the hotel you reside. Cultural shows are seasonal. Try to get the information beforehand if you wish to see the show directly.
I can assure you that you will be fascinated by the local colourful traditional dance and played with traditional Javanese musical instruments. Make sure your video player is up to the maxs to record the long hours show. It's free for the public.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We only come by taman pintar and didn't have the time to explore. This is the right place to amuse children especially children under 7 years old. They can learn about science and culture here. There are some workshop site for batik, pottery, and painting on T-shirt. You can see it on the brochure i attached.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ great place to learn and know about science, but since its pandemic time there are minumum quantity of hand sanitizer here.
the kids and the visitors are often to use the exhibit there.. and also minumum staf are available on sight.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located close to the Benteng Vredeberg, Pasar Bringharjo, and Taman Pintar. So easy to get here. A place for concert and performance of Jogjakarta's artist.
The parking space was large. The canteen is fine.
The service is good. Sometimes local artists are gathered here.
Just come away would be fine. The first floor is for painting exibition.
A must place to go.
