Ciputri is one of the family-friendly place for camping, view is so great! Couple of waterfalls, hiking is not that hard. The pine trees is so tranquilizing, and...the best part it's so freakin' cheap! The coordinator of this place is so Accomodating, people around Ciputri call him Babe, he's a ranger. Try to find him and bring your family to this place, not so far from Jakarta, teach your kids to love mother nature. Happy Camping!!

I really love this waterfall. First time I came there through the national park Halimun Salak gate, but it took longer way to get there. And the second time I go through another way from Tenjolaya village gate, so it's actually the nearest way

Best, not crowded at all, difficult to access since no public transportation and the slope is damn step ensure your bike’s brake and tire are properly maintained because the access still somewhat difficult to get into. On the other hand, the waterfalls was amazing, cold and clean, there are few spots to swim and enjoy the area!!

Great place to visit if you enjoy kind of trekking/walking trip. The distance from end stop of public transport (angkot) average 5km equal to 1 hours walking. Not too busy even it's weekends.

Nice waterfall, you can shower or splash here. As its location is in family-friendly camping ground area, so you can buy some foods and beverages in warong during trekking/near waterfall. There are also simple closets/toilets near warong. Trekking to waterfall is light but the route to the parking area is hard.

The waterfall's water is one of the clearest ones ... Its freshness and cool weather are another strong point... Ask people to show you the way to "Dusun Tonjong" Then you'll get hospital welcome from natives and closest way to the waterfall (only 500 meters long) yet spectacular scenery along the way.

Following a one-hour drive from Bogor’s city centre, this waterfall offers a scenic escape from the bustling city life. The waterfall is located within an area that also includes camping grounds and other hike trails, and you will have to flex your calf muscles for a bit to get here. Generally, you will not veer too much from big, well-maintained roads when heading towards this site. Only for the latter quarter of the trip that you will go through a one-lane road, which would not be a problem for bikers. The road has lots of very steep inclines with unprotected edges so make sure your driver is experienced enough. To reach the waterfall you will need to pass a motorcycle parking area, then the camping grounds, before reaching the stairs. If you use a motorcycle or bike, you will be able to drive uphill towards the motorcycle parking area and even the camping grounds. However, if you use a car, you will have to park near the entrance to the grounds and hike to the motorcycle parking area. Personally, I would say the hike from the parking spot to the camping grounds is the most energy-consuming, and takes half of the total trek time, so if you use a motorcycle you can let the engine work for you and save at least half of your energy. The proceeding hike is not too tough compared to the former portion, and you will pass through preserved forests until you reach the stairs, which lead downwards to the waterfall. The stairs are etched on the side of a hill so you can enjoy the view of the valley while making your descent. The steps are pretty steep, but you can hold onto the bamboo railing with no problem. As soon as you reach the bottom, you will reach the area that contains Curug Ciampea, the Green Lagoon, and a smaller waterfall which name I forgot (sorry). Some small shops are also open which sell drinks and snacks, so you can take your time in the area. Luckily, not a lot of people visit despite the relatively better access compared to other waterfalls. The waterfall itself is one of the most beautiful and exotic waterfalls that I have visited. As you get near, a cool breeze from the crashing water overwhelms you and makes you feel as if you have escaped all your problems. One of my biggest regrets is that I did not prepare extra clothes and a towel to go for a swim in the pool at the base of the waterfall. The stream water is very clean and fresh as well so make sure you drink a lot of it. The total hike to-and-back would take around 40 minutes, so make sure you prepare your eyes for a scenic route. Also, you will need to pay 22k per person upon entry to the area in addition to parking fees which is not much different, but I can assure you that this will feel extremely cheap compared to your experience
