Kawah "RATU" masih menggelegak, tidak perlu ke gunung Dieng untuk melihatnya.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Curug Cigamea terletak di Desa Gunungsari, Kecamatan Pamijahan, Kabupaten Bogor. Jarak tempuh yang tidak terlalu jauh dari ibukota Jakarta juga lokasinya yang masih cenderung jauh dari hiruk pikuk keramaian kota dan kemacetan (karena memang lokasinya berada di lereng kaki gunung Salak), membuat lokasi wisata ini menjadi salah satu destinasi yang sering dikunjungi oleh wisatawan. Terlebih jika di banding daerah puncak Bogor yang selalu macet dan sangat ramai.Bila kita ingin menggunakan angkutan umum, maka dapat memulai perjalanan dari Terminal Baranangsiang dengan menaiki angkot 03 jurusan Bubulak, atau jika menggunakan kereta commuter line setelah turun di stasiun Bogor kita bisa langsung menaiki angkot 03 jurusan Bubulak, dilanjut lagi dengan angkot jurusan Leuwiliang.
Turun di pertigaan Cibatok, lalu naik angkot lagi jurusan Gunung Picung dan turun di perhentian terakhir. Dari sini, sebaiknya kita naik ojek karena dari sini sudah tak ada lagi angkutan umum menuju tempat wisata air terjun.
Atau jika menggunakan kendaraan pribadi, setelah sampai di Bogor (sebelum memasuki kota Bogor) kita ambil ke kanan ke arah Tanah Sareal, lurus terus menuju Dramaga, masih tetap lurus sampai pertigaan Leuwiliang, baru ambil kiri. Ikuti jalan itu terus sampai di gerbang Gunung Salak Endah (GSE)Setelah sampai di gerbang Gunung Salak Endah, kita diwajibkan membayar restribusi sebesar Rp 15ribu/motor. Dan kekurangan dari penarikan ini adalah selain dinilai terlalu tinggi karena ini hanya memasuki kawasan GSE saja belum termasuk retribusi memasuki lokasi wisata. Dan lagi setelah membayar retribusi pengunjung tidak diberikan tanda bukti atau karcisnya, dan ini sangat rentan korupsi.
Setelah memasuki gerbang kawasan Gunung Salak Endah, perjalanan dilanjut kembali lurus mengikuti jalan, sekitar 300 meter baru kita akan menemui gang kecil menuju lokasi wisata Curug Cigamea.
Curug Cigamea is located in Gunungsari Village, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency. Distance is not too far from the capital city of Jakarta as well as its location which tends to be far from the hustle and bustle of the city and traffic jams (because it is located on the slope of the foot of Mount Salak), making this tourist location one of the destinations frequented by tourists. Especially if compared to the peak area of Bogor which is always jammed and very crowded. If we want to use public transportation, then we can start the journey from Terminal Baranangsiang by taking public transportation 03 majors Bubulak, or if using a commuter line train after getting off at Bogor station we can directly ride public transportation 03 majors Bubulak, followed by public transportation majors Leuwiliang.
Get off at Cibatok T-junction, then take another angkot that goes to Gunung Picung and get off at the last stop. From here, we should take a motorcycle taxi because from here there is no more public transportation to the waterfall attractions.
Or if you use a private vehicle, after arriving in Bogor (before entering the city of Bogor) we take the right direction towards Tanah Sareal, continue straight towards Dramaga, still straight until the T-junction Leuwiliang, then take the left. Follow the road and continue to the gate of Mount Salak Endah (GSE) After arriving at the gate of Mount Salak Endah, we are required to pay a levy of Rp. 15 thousand / motorcycle. And the drawback of this withdrawal is that in addition to being overvalued because it only enters the GSE area, it does not include fees for entering tourist sites. Moreover, after paying user fees, there is no proof of receipt or ticket, and this is very vulnerable to corruption.
After entering the gate of the Mount Salak Endah area, the journey continues straight back along the road, about 300 meters, we will meet a small alley leading to the tourist location of Cigamea waterfall.
