★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will never forget the morning I woke up after undergoing RELEx Smile procedure.
Cause it’s AMAZING !!!
I’ve had poor vision since primary and started using glasses since. Tried lenses, but it come with dry eyes. I’ve known about Lasik for a while and always have interest on it, but not with the courage. After a few years of contemplation, finally I took the leap. Following my cousin’s success story with Ciputra SMG Eye Clinic. I booked an appointments with dr. Azrina Noor.
Couple of days prior to the D-day:
I’ve started to use Cendo Hyalub drops, in hope that this sweet eyes will be ready for procedures on the D-day. As I heard that we can’t undergo procedures if our eyes was not ready. I was worried that my eyes will not be ready and I have to go back on another day, but I also feel relieved that Ciputra SMG Eye Clinic is doing their best to ensure that I can undergo procedures at my best condition.
On the appointed day:
First thing first, the nurse give a thorough explanation for the procedure, the risks, the post-surgery. Geez, I said to myself, that’s some really detailed explanation. Happy to have a knowledge on what they are going to do to my eyes.
And then, a sequence of screenings began. They examine lots of things, from eyeballs pressure, corneal thickness, tear film analysis and standard visual testing to check my latest sight. Apparently I was having a - 4.25(left), a - 4.00(right), and cylinder 0.25 on both eyes. All tests were easy and painless, apart from the tear film analysis (its not hurt, but it cause a little discomfort). I’ve also completed my rapid test which is mandatory during this pandemic time.
THEN, the procedures ??
Ooooh, here comes the fun part… On the Operating Theater, I was asked to lie down on the bed. Then they put some kind of eye-holders on my eye (right one first), this metal cold thingy was placed to prevent my eye from blinking. I swear it’s not hurt. They continue with numbing my eye using some liquid drops for several times, then they moved me under this sophisticated, expensive, futuristic looking, laser machine and tell me to look at the green light in front of my eye as the machine moved closer. They told me to focus and stay that way for around 24 secs and thats it. It was done. The next phase was the doctor doing refractive error, at that time I saw nothing, just a bright white light (not that kind of bright white light at the end of the tunnel, *lol*). That’s it… I don’t feel any pain at all (just a wee bit of discomfort on some procedures). Following that, same procedures was done on my left eye.
Naturally, I was required to remain absolutely still all the time, and the process was over before I know it.
My hubby watched the whole process through the room beside the Operating theater. One of the kind male nurse had me wave at him once the procedures done ?
Total time inside the OT room was just around 8 minutes. Before I go, they gave me a goggles to wore until next morning, to prevent my eyes from particles and to prevent me from accidentally rubbing it.
On the next day, the doctor said my eyes have recovered well.
Thanks to @lasikindonesia which totally improve my quality of life!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ciputra SMG Eye Clinic is an exact place for you who want to free from eyeglasses/softlense. The service here was so awesome! The staffs, nurses and doctors are friendly which satisfied me a lot when i take the LASIK Operation here! They really guided me well from the pre-examination, the LASIK op till the post-op! I was operated by dr. Bambang and the doctor is very experienced that i felt so calm in the middle of operation. Thank you Ciputra SMG Eye Clinic for providing a satisfying service and now I can see the world freely without frame anymore!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best clinic to do lasik in Jakarta. Everyone from the front desk, nurses, to doctor were very professional and helpful. First I contacted them through whatsapp, they helped me make an appointment. On my first visit there they explained all the different types of procedures and I decided to go with the ReLEx SMILE method. After that the nurses ran through various tests on my eyes very thoroughly then Dr. Azrina Noor checked both of my eyes again. I had the surgery the next day and it was painless and very safe. Everyone made me feel very comfortable throughout the process. I had a pleasant experience at Ciputra SMG Eye Clinic.

- Service: staffs are friendly, knowledgeable, and fast respond, they are open on weekend as well -- esp. if you are working and find hard time to take day off
- Facilities: they have coffee, water, good AC and nice sofa -- but sadly, since i am a plus size, they do not have quite generous size of surgery clothes :(
- Price: screening test very reasonable among other Eye Clinic in Jakarta and surgery price wise is OK since they have 2 options depend on your eyes condition
- Location: since it's in the same building with Lotte Shopping Avenue, it is easy to find meal for your bfast or lunch
- Doctor: talkative, Dr. Azrina Noor will explain and let you know everything you need to know before-after surgery and she will listen for your concern and deliver what's best for you
I recommend to consider this eye clinic!
