★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great photo spot, bad front office attitude and advertising. If you ask in phone, they will say at 5 am you will arrive on the hill and get sunrise , BUT NO you will START to go on the hill close to 5.15 am. What you WILL get is morning sun, Not sunrise, as the sun is already out by the time you're on the hill. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED, BECAUSE THEY ADVERTISED IT AS SUNRISE.
The price per person is Rp370.000 as of this writing for the whole experience , so yes, it burns quiet a bit of money and you don't get the sunrise they advertised it for.
Edit:
The restaurant service and great food is a huge save from otherwise a very bad first impression.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hills is located inside the park of Borobudur Temple. As expected from the management of the park, this place is so clean. And to get to the peak of the hills you should take about 5-10minutes of walking. In the peak its self, there's a building and a small field. And the best thing about this place is the scenery of Borobudur Temple from a far. If you visit this place in the morning, there would be a beautiful sunrise, and the tiny mist surrounding the temple. So if you visit Borobudur Temple, don't forget to get your self here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Elephant Hill. Highly recommended. There is a trail behind the Manohara restaurant, and it is a short walk up the hillside on well-maintained steps. Very peaceful. I had the whole place to myself on a very busy day when the temple was packed with visiting students. Enjoyed some quiet time in contemplation with great views of the main stupa.
